Project Truth on the Road!

The Project Truth roadshow is due to start on Monday 11th August and it is already looking as though it will be a very successful event!

Every space has been filled for the road show, which unfortunately means that there is no more room for full time volunteers, but for those still wishing to help, we are still looking for day helpers! This is a great opportunity for those who can volunteer to help out as we pass through each of the respective cities. We will also have time in the evenings to visit the town we’re in that day.

The roadshow will be launched in Edinburgh on Mon 11th, after which we will travel to Dundee(12th), Aberdeen(13th), Perth(14th), Stirling(15th) and will conclude with the Youth Rally back in Glasgow on Sat 16th of August.

For any of you who want to volunteer your time while we pass through each of your cities, we would be absolutely delighted to have your support! If you are wondering what ‘supporting’ us would entail here are bullet points of way you can help us;

  • Distribute the Project Truth leaflets about the development of the unborn child
  • Invite people to take a look at the stall where there will be fetal models, pro-life literature, free pens & sweets and images of the unborn child
  • Gather signatures for a pro-life petition
  • Engage with passers by in pro-life discussions that come up

For anyone who has never done anything like this before, we will have experienced volunteers at hand to guide and support you. Although we would encourage you to step out and help support us we would also encourage you not to do anything you would not feel comfortable with. Every little helps so we would be happy to have your support in any capacity. If you would like more information on the road show please feel free to email rachel@spucscotland.org.

Information on the exact locations in each city will be posted soon and details for the Youth Rally will be covered in the next blog post.

Many thanks for your support!
